Been reading Valam since its inception as a subscriber from Chennai. Nice to see a magazine providing space and vent to 'Right'eous thougts. I hope you folks have made enough numbers to keep the சிற்றிதழ் going.
The thing you would be happy to know is, at my home just about everyone reads Valam – dad, mom, self and wife – selected articles each, of course.
It's been a surprise for me to see my mom reading a book like Valam – which is a first for her in 62 years – that she makes it imperative to read Valam (with all its non-junk, not-so-light contents) keeping away popular mags away for a while while she reads Valam) is a matter of pride as well as amusement for me !
